im 14 & have had my wisdoms out and im in my last resort of using a dental nightguard before i have to get jaw surgery…….can anyone help??? anyone else in the same situation???? all answers & help would be great or people who nightguards havent worked for them and have some positives on jaw surgery?

Yeah. TMJ Surgery is your last resort after that. Don’t be afraid it’s a minor surgery. The good part is you don’t have to worry about a recurring pain or anomaly anymore.
Again, treatment is case-specific.
TMD is very complicated to treat, it is first treated by treating symptoms and eliminating causes, so there is no once off cure for it, jaw surgery may not improve it or make it worse so it may stay the same.
